Mine has a nylon wheel in it for the arm rotation movement. Made of 2x4s for the base and 1x2s for the arms. Dowels at 1.5&#8221; apart allow for different size yarn skeins to be used.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nI just sanded it and left it plain. To be stained and poly coated at a different point, or just left as the warm natural wood. When sitting in it&#8217;s base it has a slight angle to the rotation.
