Tuesdays with Guac-y

Today I’m sharing some recipes. I woke up and the avacado was going bad so after breakfast I made guac. Breakfast was a scrambled egg with yellow rice and chicken tenders. Mmmm. The eggs had cheese and milk in them so they are fluffy and creamy, and i had cacik (Turkish cucumber yogurt dressing)

Here’s the Guac:

Tuesday’s Guac:
1 Avacado
1 Tomato (Hot House for size)
1/3 onion
1/2 lime of lime juice
1 clove of garlic
1/2 hand full of cilantro
salt
chili powder

First you make sure the Avacado is good. Haha, no brown or slimy yellow green texture. Ive been fooled by this too many times.

Slice and scoop the avacado into a bowl.

Dice the onion and tomato into small bits or what ever size you prefer.

Slice the top off of the lime, stab meat with fork several times and squease the lime juice into the bowl.

Dice the garlic and cilantro, and mix into the bowl.

Smash and mix all the ingredients together untill you have a uniform consistancy.

Add salt and chili powder to you liking, it doesn’t take a lot.

For added fun with the guac try out Di’s Margs on the Rocks
